R8 Day in the Northeast- 7/11- Monticello Motor Club

We have a day scheduled at the Monticello Motor Club in Monticello, NY. The MMC is a private, country club racetrack destination, believed by many to be among the finest in the country. Their members include Jerry Seinfeld among others. http://monticellomotorclub.com/gallery/videos/

•Grand corners in the style of great European tracks
•Over 1.5 miles of straights, some of the longest in North America
•Thrilling elevation changes
•A total of 22 turns including hairpins, increasing, and decreasing radius turns

Our plan is as follows:

9am: Meet for Breakfast
10-10:30am: Tour of the facility, Q & A, some parade laps, etc
12:30pm: Lunch (at our expense)
1:30: Additional Q & A, maybe laps, discussion of membership opportunities

There are some hotels in the area that I can provide you information. We can even try and schedule a dinner for Saturday night.

The day is open for any R8 people and if we have any friends who have exotics they track who might enjoy the day. I'd like to try and get at least 12 participants. Let me know if anyone is interested.

That was my question as well. This falls on my GF's bday, and I'd need something more than just hanging out with other R8s (which is definitely cool) and touring a facility I'd never attend to convince her that it's a worthy way to spend it.
