Wanted: Single front V8 wheel

Does anyone know where I can get a single v8 (5 double spoke) front wheel for a reasonable price? I seem to have damaged one of mine (**** London potholes !) and its out of round. I've been advised that it is properly balanced and safe to drive but given my desire to do some high speed autobahn driving I'd rather get a new one. Its on my 08 R8 in the United Kingdom and was the standard polished / painted wheel that was out then. Any ideas?

To clarify, this is a 19' x 8.5" wheel with a silver/polished finish. I think OEMplus had identified this as the Z33/Z17 (Silver/Polish - V8) wheel. thx

Make that 2 for a bulk buy discount. I've had to order one through Highland Audi for the trip, but would reject it if one comes up for sale. Mine's driveable as it is just scuffed. This is coded PQ7 and is the high gloss finish.

Beware the apparently un-repairable polished finish alloy wheel from Audi.

yeah. I went to Audi and they wanted 920 sterling for one - no way ! I'm taking it back in to Wheel Wizard to see if he can straighten it. He says he can with heating it. We shall see. I see various aftermarket US companies selling wheels on ebay for a lot less, I could probably get one over from USA in that time.

And no Colin, I'm not using it as an excuse to kick your ass in that slow Spyder (but nice looking....). The spyder is 1790 kilos so even with the V10 my SC V8 should take you....

Wheel wizard are a great co, my dealership uses them and recons they can repair my wheel ( 7 days though ) & they will give me a car while its away, will sort after the trip as I have a feeling there may be a few more little issues like this on our epic journey.

Come on Colin....I hope to ride with all you "single" guys some of the time....at the very least, to give Ian some break from me! So at those times the competition between the Spyders and the Coupes will get more even.

An oddity that you've noticed here, wheel prices in the US are much lower than that of wheel prices in Europe, for Audi/VW. I still have yet to understand fully why, possibly our wheels are subsidized here in the US or Audi just feels like kicking you all around overseas, but I routinely see wheels in Europe offered to me for twice the price they are available here, even at a dealership here.

It is actually cheaper for folks to buy wheels from me and have them shipped to places like Australia and the UK, even though shipping to places like Australia runs $750 or so, there is still substantial savings.

So if anyone ever runs into insanely priced wheels in Europe or anywhere other than the US, don't forget to inquire over this way on pricing, as long as the North American market gets the wheels you are looking for. The shipping may be heady but the wheel prices far make up for it.
