    OEM
    Pirelli P-zero
    Michelin PS2

    NOn - oem
    Hankook Evo12's - 235 or 245 fronts, 295 or 305 rears.
    Advan Neova AD08 - 235 and 295 only
    Bridgestone RE-11 - 235 and 305 only

I think those might be it for non race tires.

here is the link that shows tireracks test on both the advan and the bridgestone.

I just put Michelin Pilot Sports on mine. Can't report much yet but I went up to a 305/30 on the back and it fits fine. I'll give you a report in 2 weeks after I put about 3,000 miles on it across the Alps ! The PS/2's came as a 'special' from off a loaner porsche - ie. they have some miles on them but not many and the price was amazing. I've always had great results with Mich though so not worried about it vs. the Pirellis, third set of tyres on the car now. This is UK.

Hi - I am currently in the same predicament. How did these perform in the wet please?

    Thanks,

    Andrew

I bought some Pilot Cups just before I sold my coupe and tried them for 1 track day and a bit of daily driving in the rain

Much more consistent on the track without shredding the edges that occurs on the Pzero and more grip when you are pushing fast.

On the road I found them firmer and gave strong grip in the rain.

I was warned though to watch out for standing puddles due to possible aquaplaning.

However I went through a few and had no problems.

I went 305/19 and increased the front to 245/19 with absolutely no problems at all.

I have mine stored away for the next track day on the Spyder

In saying all that(and some will disagree)I think the P Zero is a great all round tyre for ride, comfort, noise, grip(Wet or Dry)

I used to have Vredsteins Ultrac Sessanta on my BMW M3 Great ride great through the corners stiff side wall makes speed bumps a pain but does not affect ride comfort to a nocticeable level, great tread pattern, good road noise level. All in all an awesome tire, just that they dont have the 305 width but they do have the 295.

The Michelin Pilot Super Sport will be replacing the PS2, hopefully it will be available soon.

Theres a video of the launch here (the collection of cars is quite a sight)

Although I've just read that they are going to be available in April (articles originally said January)..which is quite annoying (my tires don't have too much life left on them..)
