    Is it asking too much??

Hey , if the moderator ever reads this...Would it be asking too much to change the subscription format to require certain pertenant info? People could lie if they wanted to, to NOT reveal their locations. Most of us R8 owners are not such an arrogant lot. It is just more effort by us to update info.Get it at the start. This is the only thorn in this forum/site, which is a pretty dang good one.

I'd have to disagree -- it's great to have once someone becomes part of the community, but requiring the info up front is just more work and may turn people off to the forum

I agree with Harrison, I think putting your location is not to much to ask and
it isn't more then city and country it is not like you have to let people know where you live. The people that would be turned of by this I'm pretty sure that we would not want as members anyway.

    Tonny,
If you agree, why have you not edited your profile with the location info.

It is very easy, click on "Quick Links", select "Edit Profile" and towards the bottom of that page is a field for location.

I do agree that the location should be part of the sign up. It helps people answer questions or understand what people are asking.

I agree with Harrison, it is nice to know where the posting member is from. It does not need to be a specific location.
