    Seat Belt Tension

My only complaint with my R8 is the seat belt tension. The belt tension is so tight it completely restricts my movement and I am constantly rocking back and forth to reset the tension. Is there any way to adjust the automatic tension component of the belt?

Maybe take it to the dealer. I'm sure they can adjust it for free if you complain that it's not working right. Mine used to always get stuck and required a lot of yanking before I got it to come out enough. They fixed this for me no problem.

Strange. I was going to get that thing that makes it tighter. If you don't feel your gas building up uncomfortably, it's not tight enough.

    Re: Seat Belt Tension

I have to say I love the tight seat belt. Whenever I give it a milisecond's thought, in the "heat of battle", so to speak, I am always comforted by the way the seat belt seems to have tightened up and is holding me very snugly while I'm very busy driving.

I think that, beside the excellent seat shape and position, the seat belt tensioners and the excellent "dead pedal" are amongst the best "driver's features" of the R8.

I have seldom felt as well restrained and free to drive without worrying about my positioning in a non race prepared road car. Considering that it doesn't have a full race car 5 point harness, I think it does amazingly well.....for a daily-driver road car.

    Re: Seat Belt Tension

AUDI has some issues with the seat belts - I had mine exchanged some weeks ago because it was so "tight" that it did not even wind up in one move (in about ten...) after releasing it.
So maybe you should visit your dealer.
