Ian, I wonder what was the first thing to go through that poor birds mind when it hit your grill at 311 KPM, probably its bottom!

Just cleaned my car and its peppered with grit chips, testament to the fast speeds and hard driving we did, Christ, it’s not 4 weeks old and I have done 4,000 iles!

A small boy pointed it out at a gas station in Germany and I wondered what he was pointing at and falling about laughing. I saw the poor thing but assumed it did the usual swerve out of the way.... I had to strain bits of bird out of the boot as some of it went in via the 0.8mm Audi panel gap between grill and hood!
