Ian: a question about the GT, if you happened to notice:
Obviously they did some work on increasing ventilation/airflow, from the visible added aperatures here and there.

In that connection, I see the engine hatch side vents look quite different....from the outside at least. Could you tell, did they just open directly into the engine space as the normal versions we all have do? They almost look like the might be openings for some ducted ventilation, at least from what you can see in the pictures.

Just curious. If that were the case, I was wondering what specifcally they'd be venting?

is the movable part larger? doesn't look that much different from the outline, I don't think?

The normal hatch can be disassembled quite a bit from what you are used to seeing.

Alternatively, the side vents on the GT hatch do not come off and the lower (painted) section does not come off.

Any chance you have pictures of the interior too? I am particularly interested in seeing the Carbon Fiber front dash, instrument cowl, and brake handle glove compartment.

I am surprised that they do not have the correct wheels on that GT. Those are the normal titanium colored double five spoke wheel. The GT comes with a slightly different version. Also, did it have the extra color around the engine? I can not see it from the angle of your pictures.

Interesting. Do you know, do those vent at the sides of the hatch, or at the bottom (unique to the GT, obviously) just open into the engine compartment, or are some of them ducted?

It looks like the engine bay has matte carbon. The red center stripe is just visible in one of the pics...
