About LinkBacksI have 22k miles so far on my '08 R-tronik. BUT, I haven't babied my car. Is the consensus that the Standard generally gives a longer clutch life? I imagine the R-tronic does a little less slipping in upper gear changes than the standard....depending on the driver.\"/

has to be kFab, for an MT at least, doesn't it?
does anyone know: do the onboard diagnostics "score" or rate the clutch wear on BOTH the MT and the R-tronic...or is it part of the extra "brains" of the auto system?
my dealer's R8 advisor measures my tire tread (and reports it to me) every time I drive into their service port (for anything!); I would like to know how my clutch is doing too...whenever they have my baby hooked up to "HAL" .2010 v8 delv'd 9/9/09: Jet Blue/Silver w. Limestone

i have R-tronic 51000 miles
and i am now changing the full clutch as i was facing slipage since 47000.

That is impressive 050.Are you considering the V10 clutch this time? Rich at oemplus has the kit and I wonder what if any the price difference is. Cost isn't so important.Longetivity is key.We already know the clutch hooks up perfectly.Untill 47,000 Kilomiters or miles? I know you said miles...just double checking. Thanks .

Kfab was at 44xxx, I think. Sounds like 050 is the most experienced. V10 is certainly the way to go...

I have not removed an R-Tronic transmission for comparison purposes, but the 6MT cars don't have a sensor on them like this...

what stopping me from installing the v10 clutch is that i will lose the warranty . and with my current milage i need the warranty really ...
