Remote issue...any advice?

Has anyone here experienced an issue with the remote operation of a GM vehicle while parked adjacent to an R8 or other Audi product?

My business partner has a 2010 SS/RS Camaro and his remote functions (start, locks and windows) fail whenever he's parked near my R8. I've never had any issue with my 2003 or 2010 Chevrolet pick-ups while parked near my Audi; they use a different type of remote fob, but his Camaro uses a fob that appears to be of the same manufacture as the newer Audi's. If the remote's on these cars are actually the same operating system we may be getting some sort of feed back or cross interference; although I've never had any issues with the R8 failing.

Any experience or thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

PS...I've already told him if he'd just buy a R8 this problem would disappear!

I don't have any input, other than to remark that the new Camaros are actually built by Holden in Australia. That may be the difference between them and your other Chevys.

Just some input on the new Camaro Desperado

the New Camaro is built in Canada, it was the 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO that was built by Holden in Australia. I had a 2005 myself.
When the new Camaro was designed it was talk about building it in Australia but that didn't happen.

The Camaro is assembled in Oshawa Canada, Holden did a bunch of the design and engineering work.

I can confirm the Camaro being built in Oshawa Canada as I work in Oshawa. I know many people that work at the GM factory here that produces that car. I just bought my first Audi R8, Silver/Black V8 3 weeks ago. Love the car. I get a lot of people looking at it, taking pictures or commenting on it...

I think the Camaro is just jealous being parked next to an R8
