how much did you pay for your v10?

Hi guys, I am new here but have been lurking for a while. I live in kansas city and am in the market for a new audi R8 v10. This is my first high dollar car so I am not sure what the usual procedure is. When I normally buy a car you figure you will pay close to invoice or lower that you can. But obviously this is different. Should I expect to pay sticker or is their room for negotiations?

I paid MSRP, as I think most did in the US. Well, I did get them to throw in a charger. A few have gotten better deals, but to do much better than MSRP you will probably have to buy one off the lot. The car has been out long enough now that demand is not nearly what it once was. Be glad for that as a few in here had to pay well over MSRP to get theirs.

Be glad you're not in Aus either, with the additional government luxury taxes and charges we pay here:

With these charges, in the US, I could have bought:

Of course the car itself comes specially inflated and gouged courtesy of Audi and their fellow German's history of screwing Aussies, at $308k.

Full MSRP for me too but I was glad to get one and not get screwed around by the dealer.

I got a bit better than MSRP on my V10. 1K off sticker plus they included the Audi Care Maintenance package and a R8 car cover. Of course they had to screw up my order first which made me wait an extra couple of months....
