1st recall on Spyder

Just had a call from Audi to arrange for my Spyder to go into the shop for its 1st recall, it’s a control unit / wiring issue, apparently it could be a 15 min fix to a 1.5 hour fix, there is a problem with the wiring rubbing and they need to assess each car for various potential problems.

Other than that, 4,000 miles now ( 5 weeks old! ) and no problems, no oil lights etc so all is good, considering the punishment it has had from picking it up it’s a miracle!

No oil fill ups??

Hmmm..drive them hard from the start and they seem to use less.

Certainly was my experience on the second engine where no quarter was given,as opposed to my first were I run it in to the book and continually filled up.

I guess that's the price for getting early cars off the production line. Hope it's the only one!
