Thankyou to Dave Buttross who took this video of my lap of the ring, we encountered an ambulance attending a biker who slid into the armco and a 911 who had done the same,although not great fun for them it was great fun for us & i hope you enjoy the Spyder & the sound!

Nice to see that Colin. David needs some decent shock absorbers attached to his arm sockets though!

I'll take that as a video of mine as well, as, apart from one traffic problem, I was just behind you. No piccies of the Murcielago?? Or did we toast him from the off?

Am I correct in my understanding that anyone can drive on this circuit? Pay an entry fee and go play? Is there a limited number of laps or time given?

Must say, the video's a bit hard to watch - I'm sitting here feeling a bit of motion sickness. I think that's from the pain killers... I went down on the mx bike (lost the front end in a high speed corner - I think there's something about my steering ability at present) yesterday and re-broke the rib I snapped in my crash last month. This sucks.

I've decided that I must track the new car. It really is the only way to go push the limits and be safe(r).

KfabR8, Sorry about the video quality! one of the cars ringing (Maverick) had a mounted camera, it is in fact illegal to video going round so you have to be discreet, anyone can drive this circuit, although we all did it without insurance as we could not get cover due to it not being a track day event, there are no limits to track time and number of laps, you just pay & play, will be going back soon as I am getting withdrawal symptoms!

In this video I was being followed by MikeB and an orange murcielago, as you can see I was passed by a couple of 911s that made me feel like I was standing still when in fact I was driving at the maximum of my ability! there is a difference with those who regularly attend the ring and know what corners are coming up ( 73 of them ) some are crested and blind so unless you know what’s coming up you just can’t drive beyond the point of not feeling safe, great fun though and one of the best experiences of my life so far!
