SC / TT or V10??

Guys I need some advice...........I recently purchaed a 2009 R8 V8 6 speed, silver with every avalible option, with just over 1K miles on it. I love the car, however kinda wish it had a little more HP/TQ. I have several cars faster that the R8 so I guess im missing more power.

I have been researching and looking into Heffner TT and VF Supercharger (StaSiS). The TT setup or the SC setup is approx 35K with exhaust which is recommended. I have been looking into trading my V8 for a
V10 and I can basically get a used V10 for less than 35K difference.

Which do you feel is the better choice? I feel for resale a stock V10 will always be worth more that a modified V8. I typically dont keep cars for a long time so I always look into resale. I know the SC is a little faster. However I worked out some numbers and I can get into a V8 for 30K with taxes, any opinions

I say V10. cost difference is about same, gives you the power you are looking for, warranty, and easier resale. Howeve, you need to add a Capristo valved exhausted system for better sound.

Not sure what is meant by, "long time" or by "get into a V8". But if you will keep it less than 2 years, get the used V10 and keep it simple. Good luck.

The GMG and STaSIS are also great V10 exhausts. but again, maybe keep it all stock and keep it all simple.

i am in the same position. I am in a R8 V8 R Tronic and was considering upgrading the asthetics by adding and aero kit just to help destinguish it from stock but what I really want is that and more power. I have been considering getting the Heffner TT but am concerned about the Warranty. Had not really considered the Supercharger till I heard that it maybe covered under warranty. I plan to keep the R8 for a long time but not sure if it is better to trade in for a V10, modify with a Supercharger and keep the Warranty or get the Heffner TT. Any thoughts would be greatly apperciated.

I say if you already have an r8 V8 and want more power go Stasis Supercharger
if you don't have one buy a V10. I drove my Buddy Mikes (DvmMike) VF supercharged V8 (same basic system as stasis) It is absolutely fantastic
power is great, and if you don't push it it runs just like stock.

Thanks Tonny! I am going to do more research into the Stasis Supercharger now. What the financial impact is going to be etc... I just met with the Audi Dealership and they are open to supporting with install of the Stasis Supercharger and are checking on the warranty.
