What to buy after R8?

Just wanted to know what are you guys/girls considering.
For me, 458 Italia.

I just replaced my '08 R8 with a V10 R8.

My boss has a fleet of Ferraris (including an Enzo) and a MB-McLaren SLR, all of which I've driven. A coworker has also just taken delivery of a Ferrari California.

While the Ferraris are fine automobiles that each best the R8 in one category or another, in my view, none have the overall balance of performance, style, fit-and-finish, all-weather capability, and comfort of the R8.

While I have no plans on replacing my R8 (Heck, I want my 09!), I'd have to take a long hard look at the new McLaren MP4.

I sold mine a month or so ago. Whilst I have a used BMW at present as a stop-gap I really am in a quandary as to what next!

I am waiting for the new SLK 55 to come out in 2011 as I love the idea of a small, fast coupe/cabrio. If that does not do it for me then an R8 Spyder probably.

I miss open top motoring!

I hope to keep my R8 for a very, very long time.

Hopefully the replacement will be powered by a Flux Capacitor.

Replace? Never. I'm keeping it. What is the next cool summer car to add to the stable? Very hard to say.
