Disappointing

Dropped the car at the dealer this morning and learned that Audi will not fix squeeks, rattles etc after 12 months. This is specific to Audi as Porsche does back their product for the duration of the warranty....disappointing!

I would think it all depends on the source of the squeek.

Over a year after I purchased my R8, I noticed a squeek that was determined by the dealer to be coming from the center brake light. They ended up replacing the light twice -- the second time was because there was an updated fixed light. Once that was done, my cabin returned to squeek free.

If you're hearing a squeek, even if it doesn't sound like it's from the top back, I would take it in and ask the dealer to check the center brake light.

I'll let you know if they fix my creaking dashboard under warranty. It's in Mission Viejo Audi right now. My car is an early 2009 so its approaching 2 years old.

My car is almost 3 years old. My dealer is still fixing stuff like that under warranty. Just tracked a vibration that was really bugging me to the glove box and repaired it for free (apparently there was a tech bulletin)

I have an annoying 'buzzing, rattling, vibrating' sound upon acceleration (around 3000-4000 rpm). Is this the same noise coming from the center brake light? Or is it something else?

I got the car back couple days ago and the dealer stepped up and made all fixes to rattles and squeaks under warranty
