Said goodbye to the R8....

It is official. The Suzuka Grey has found a new home. It was a part of my life for 2.5 years from the time I ordered it until it left the stable. I don't regret a minute. I shudder to think that its "all down hill from here" in the world of cars but my R8 will be hard for me to top. It was truly a special car and the ownership experience was greatly enhanced by having this forum. I think R8 owners miss out on a lot by not participating here... the knowledge, camraderie and fellowship were priceless. Thanks to everyone.

Congratulations to Tcoop1 from Ohio, USA. I hope he will enjoy her as much as I did. He's a good man and I wish him well.

It's true, Russ. It was the pinnacle of my ownership for sure. But there is life after the R8. Choose wisely! Scott

Russman's old R8 is the best combo I have ever set my eyes on. I'm sure he will have something better coming along the way though (like the new R8 spyder lol)
