Sometimes, I forget where I live.

So, I had a 3/4 hood PPF on the R8 and never liked the visible line across the hood. When I ordered the 335is, I specifically requested PPF on all forward facing surfaces - mirrors, front bumper, entire front quarter panels and FULL hood. I wanted everything covered.

Picked up the car Wednesday, what did I get? A 3/4 piece and another 1/4 piece stuck on the end to make a full hood! You know, 3/4 + 1/4 = FULL. Right? Man I was pissed!

The sales person checked with the installer and he said "no way a R8 hood is covered in one piece." But then, I took a breath and remembered where I was - in Arizona. I know where HELL east & HELL south are thanks to this forum. But AZ is often more Bumble-F**K than anywhere else in the US!

The moral of the story & lesson learned is - never assume, be as specific as possible!

I guess a trip to Premier in Orange County is in order. Good excuse to get out of the heat anyway.

Yeah, appreciation for fine automobiles runs deep in the R8 community. Fortunately, my other R8 bro has the means to maintain both!! Nothin' but love for ya'all bro!!
