    financing

Need help with financing. I'm in the position to pick up a high end car (actually not an R8) a couple of years old with a few thousand miles. I need to borrow
120-130K to do it. My credit is great and I make plenty enough money to be able to afford it. However my dealer can't seem to find a lender that do more
then 100K. I am approved for 100K 72 months at 5%. If I could find someone
that did 120-130K 72 months at 5% it would be a done deal.
Any ideas please let me know.

    Tonny

If your house isn't already paid off, consider refinancing your mortgage. You'd end up getting a great rate for whatever amount you need, given that your house is worth more than $120-130k.

Home loans (and Home Equity Lines, to a point) also have the tax write off advantage, but lenders are not as lenient as they used to be. Most appraisals come in much lower than they used to.

Bank of America has had pretty good rates for auto loans for a while. Perhaps approach them directly or whichever bank you have a good relationship with. Good luck...

Dealer figured it out today so they got it done, I should get it this week so I'll post pics when I do even though it isn't an R8
