    Got my 2011 V10, $1500 more

    Finally got my 2011 V10. Base price for the coupe went up to $147,500. I love the car but still breaking it in and am anxious to see how it compares to the GTR. Beautifull blue color, did I mention I love the car, and it is really blue. Will
    R8 V10 MT6, Stasis ECM, MA Carbon steering wheel and hb, Sepang blue, Oxygen Sideblade, limestone leather, CF, alacantra hl, V8 wheels; 2002 Porsche C4S Supercharged with GT2 body, 425 whp; 08 BMW 535xi Dinan 384 hp; Red GT-R 09 midpipes, fast;

    They honoured the MSRP at time of delivery. After waiting almost 2 yrs to get exactly what I wanted, I did not complain. I would love to see your carbon fiber interior pieces. I definitely want to get the steering wheel and brake handle in CF. Will

    He was probably quoted msrp or msrp minus discount by his dealer, not a specific amount. Manufacturers change prices normally at start of new Model Year and sometimes during the year, often with little prior notice to dealer or end customers. z356

    i'd really like to hear about the vs GTR experience. what do the downpipes do for the GTR? any significant torque increase?

    I have midpipes only on the GTR. Downpipes will void warranty. The midpipes eleminate two cats but they are downstream from the O2 sensors so no CELs or warranty issues. Much better sound and seat of the pants dyno is good. It takes a tune with Cobb AP tuner to get full benefit. Some owners claim up to 75+ whp with midpipes and Cobb stage II tune. But there is a guy on nagtroc.com that blew his 22k transmission with the Cobb tune and exhaust that was picked up by Nissan on the dreaded black box and its not covered. I just don't need that problem. Will
