    You mean the 'Fatherland', no? Germany is commonly referred to as the 'Fatherland' by the volks. Russia is referred as the 'Motherland'. We, after fairly recent events, are now called the 'Homeland'. It all falls under the category of 'patriotic license'. z356

    I was in the Fatherland the first time I laid eyes on an R8.(7-13-'08) .The prices for new at the Stuttgart dealership were ASTRONOMICAL. I played it smart and purchased in the good 'ol USA for about 1/2 of what it would have cost me to buy, drive, then ship. I have a little bit of patience...sometimes.
