    Adieu to the R8

Well, today I said goodbye to the R8. In the 14 months I had it I have to say it's one of the best cars I've ever owned. Might have lacked a little soul and from some angles it had a bit of a funny shape but the engine was a work of art, the electronics were fantastic and the build quality was amazing. I'll miss it. The new one arrived and is being checked over.

Thanks for all the great information guys. I hope you enjoy your cars as much as I enjoyed mine.

Mine actually came with rivets not glue but yeah I read about that. Pays not to live in Dubai I guess. Still, it was only 8 cars (the 9th wasnt the glue it was an idiot owner) and Ferrari is replacing them free of charge. Can you imagine how hot the pavement must get to melt the glue??? Not an issue in SF but I'm glad it's fixed.

Wow, pretty machine. Glad it's got a solution in place to keep it from self destructing.
