    GT Exhaust

Looking at the pics again of the GT in the Neckarsulm showroom the exhaust on the GT is much larger than the V10 exhaust, if you look in the V10 oval pipe you see two tail pipes set back, 1 large and 1 smaller one, however, on the GT its one big tube, does anyone know if the GT exhuast will sound much different than the standard V10 one? and, if the internal system is different? had i been keeping the Spyder i would have opted for an aftermarket exhaust, i would not want to make any aftermarket changes to the GT as i think it could knock its future appeal and value.

Still waiting for the colour swatches and brochure pack to enable me to spec it up, cant make my mind up on colour, hopefully the larger swatches will help, Two things i have decided on is the alcantara interior with orange stiching and the special GT wheels. If you look at the Spyder behind the GT its in the Cherry black which is on my short list, not sure about the matt white, looks dirty and i do like a shiney car!

    Hi Cloin

I'm hoping the GT will have a better exhaust but I guess the end trims will trims only as with the other cars.

Got my letter from Jeremy Hicks a couple of weeks ago, colour choice is between Suzuka Grey and Samoa Orange, on balance the Orange has the upper hand as the grey is a £5821.28 option and there will be issues with this finish in my opinion, ceramic braked look like a must have though.

Hi Jerry, you may be right but the tail pipes within the large circle end cap are different, yes, Orange on my shortlist too, ceramic brakes are standard on the GT along with the R Tronic, when are you getting yours?

Thanks Stella, thats a really clear shot, so, two pipes, but i think they are different shapes from the V10, yes? if so, there could be a very different exhaust system and sound hopefully

    Hi Colin

Got a call from the dealer today, they have just received clarification of the price of some of the options and standard spec, from the list I was originally given R Tronic is the only box offered, ceramic brakes are a £7,297.02 option. I have the full options price list and pdf brochure of the GTwhich I can e-mail you if you would like a look.

I am going to the dealer on Thursday to complete the spec for the order, I understand deliveries will start Q1 2011 but I bet it will creep into Q2.
