    Starting to get depressed

Can someone please tell me whether the ride quality (handling bumps) is better in the R8 than the Aston Martin V8 Vantage? I recently drove a Vantage and found the ride harsh like my former C6 Z06. I'm starting to get bummed out that maybe all super cars are going to ride like this and maybe MA is NOT the place to own a car at this level. Please share your thoughts.

    Thanks

Audi ≠ Aston. I think you'll find the R8 to be a compliant and comfortable ride.

I didn't find the Vantage's ride to be harsh, but I'd say the R8's is even more compliant...even when the Magnetic Ride is set to Sport Mode.

If you can't avoid all of the pot holes, and traverse speed bumps, a Monster truck is required. I am in a small town with my R8 right now , and I have changed my cruise routes, because of very dirty streets.(monsoon season). So if I can't handle dirt... no more R8 usage during Monsoon season !!

Having owned 2 Vantages I can say that the R8 has a more compliant ride without a doubt. And I never take it out of sport mode.

It's way better. I was a big thumbs down on the z06. I only kept it for two weeks. The R8 isn't a Lexus but it won't jar you either. Honestly, as an all around car I found it to be the best car i've ever driven. I was sorry to see it go.

The first time I drove the V8V, I was shocked how harsh it was compare to the R8, but I got used to it very quickly. That said, I do take different route depending on which car I am driving. The R8 is almost lexus like compare to the V8V.
