Thumbs down License plate for lights.... w.t.f.

First day with the new car..... LOVING it!!
Question though.. Why the heck did Audi put l.e.d. lights EVERYWHERE, other than the license plate lights!?!?!?

Is there anyone that has replaced them with some led's and have a non issue with them?

    T.i.a.

I have someone that's looking into finding an LED bulb setup that will work. I talked to him about the issue of the lack of resistance and draw of the LED making the car think that the incandescent bulb's gone out and he said that there's a fix - some sort of balance bar.

As soon as I hear something I'll post up.

Whad'ya think of these? See post# 10 in the second link. Seems as if it's been done in other new Audi's.

The LED thread's been brought up a few times. Seems like sometimes the answer's been found and then it's discovered that it works for one, not for another.

Hopefully my source can come up with something else that works. If so, then good for those that it works for (hopefully all), if not, well at least I tried.

Festoon LEDs with resistors for CANBUS compatibility works - I''ve used 2 sets from Ebay from different suppliers and they work. The one that doesn't seem to work is the T10 in the luggage compartment....

Well I tried these, they LOOK great, but threw the 'light bulb' symbol.
    Of course they claimed otherwise.
