I miss the black pepper crab, chilli crab, and the BBQ pork. Oh, and proper bak kut teh.

How much is an R8 in Singapore? Around US$400,000?

I could go for proper bak kut teh as well, and proper fresh durian, not the stuff they sell here at asian supermarkets.

Don't you have to scrap a car after 10 years in Singapore? or can they be exported out

No you don't have to, after 10 years you may choose to keep your car by purchasing a COE(certificate of entitlement), and keep driving for another 10 years.

So you can keep it for maximum of 20 years? Is the COE a flat rate no matter what kind of car or does it scale up the more expensive the car?

you can keep for as long as you want, so far as you buy a permit every 10 years.

Re: Looking for R8 drivers in Singapore!

Well, Kiran, it looks like you're the only R8 owner from Singapore, at least on R8Talk.com.

Do you see other R8s around Singapore?

    And where are those pics??
