Battle of the Supercars – R8 V10 vs Lexus LFA

I just saw the latest episode that was on my DVR.

The stock R8 V10 faired pretty well against the stock Lexus LFA which costs more than double the Audi. A much better showing than the episode that had the V8 Evolution turbo against the Porsche 997 Evolution tubro.

That Evolution comparison was so one sided. Most tuners safely get about 550 Hp from a 4.2 twin turbo and it also easy to crank the boost and get 650 Hp from the Porsche. The difference to me was easily 100 Hp.

A more fair comparison would be stock to stock, the R8 V10 is heavier than the Porsche and has 25 Hp more to balance the equation.

I finally got a chance to see the LFA vs R8 segment. Pretty good showing for a the R8 as has been mentioned.
The LFA looks like something from one of my kids video games, I wonder if it has a Wii application.
