First problem, R8 off to the shop :(

After one month and half of ownership and 1800 miles, my R8 is headed to audi shop for the first and last time I hope. Drove the car to work, then to lunch, and otw back back to the office it wouldn't start.

Indicator light said battery low, i checked other electronics and surely the windows were moving up and down slower than usual, hoping its a battery issue....unfortunately not.

Car has been there since last friday and they still don't know the problem, they think it has to do with the starter after initially thinking it was the battery , they replaced the battery and let the car sit for a day after it started right up with the new one.....sure enough by end of day it wouldn't start again.

Im still waiting eagerly 96 hours later to hear what the problem with my first audi is....hope its nothing major.....on the plus side i threw my new mccarbon steering wheel in the front seat as it was getting towed away and left a note, " while your at it, please install this wheel."

Hopefully they get it fixed, Its never as simle as it seems. Good luck

^^^^ lol I like that. Do you know what they are going to charge for labor yet?
