Oh, and if you're undecided, get the carbon fibre engine bay option, it looks awesome.

I'm not thrilled about paying MSRP (on principle) for any car, but I guess that's better than paying a mark-up.

I'm probably just getting the Enhanced Leather, Convenience pkg, CF Sideblade, Nav, Illuminated sills and maybe B&O.

if you can pay for it by cash, you can afford it, and don't pay sticker price

get the one that can sync to an iphone readily (e.g. 2010 model), i regret this sometimes for my car

wish i had black exterior but many say the red on mine is great

It will be a 2011, cash purchase. The 3 dealers I talked to all said, and i quote "MSRP, take it or leave it". If anyone knows of a dealer that will deal on cash, please let me know.

I paid cash and was not able to get anything off MSRP, I think they actually prefer when you finance since they get a kick back if you do through them. Did at least get them to throw in the Audi Care package so you could try for that. But even if a dealer wont you should buy it. I think it's $700 something and the same price if car is an A4 or R8, You know oil changes will be expensive on R8.

I believe Audi Care is currently $790, but heard that Audi is about to up the pricing and make it different for different models. Anyone else know anything about this? If true, getting a dealer to throw it in now would be a good deal.

The price of extending the warranty has been graded on a curve. The later you wait to extend your warranty... the higher the cost. Thus, Audi is betting you will purchase the extended warranty sooner than later. A bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush. I know, because I am on the fence , whether to sell or keep. So, it is a real game of battleship. But , as they say...in war , there are no winners, just losers, who loses the least, is the REAL winner. And I HATE to loose. (As in loose my cash). Rich, I am still waiting to hear what your value of my car is. I saw your eyes the first time you saw my car...I have not publicly dissed you. Yet you offer me NO help. My car has been successfully tracked. I guess you feel that any R8 that has been tracked is an undesireable unit. This hurts my feelings and anyone elses feelings who has tracked their cars a FEW times. As Machete said I do NOT text. you are like Machete... BUT re worded" I do not respond in a timely manner"?
