Amazing VAGCOM Tool!!!

I just received the VAGCOM tool from RossTech and all I can say is WOW!!
I can't believe all of the incredible features, from interrogating every controller in the car to reading LIVE data from any sensor!!

You can even disable side airbags etc for use with aftermarket seats!!

This tool is a amazing and very easy to use. However, Must be used with RESPECT and CAUTION.

It has just blown me away!!

PS: The R8 ECU knows what the Atmospheric Pressure is realtime!!!

Just make sure that if/when you change any coding that you cut/paste and save the coding that you're replacing before you hit update. It's quite easy to totally disable your car, which then requires a call to Audi. It was a learning experience.

Have you found the section that will record 0-60 and quarter mile times?

Bz888, make sure that you setup connections to desired modules behind the seats BEFORE installing your harness or roll bars.

The VCDS tool is indispensable for us here. I highly recommend it, but have to echo Kfab's warning about treating it with caution. It is always a good idea to BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP whenever you change something. A quick copy/paste into a text file is a lot faster/cheaper/less embarrassing than a trip to the dealer to have a module reset.

No coding required. It's in the Airbag Controller Adaptation Menu. It's a drop down box. Disable Airbag.
