Warranty Claim: What Car does YOUR Audi dealer give you?

Living in Dubai I've had a couple of warranty claims now. The dealer have a strange process, they pass you to the hire car team. If its inconvenienced i.e. you have been waiting a few days/weeks for parts they will offer a free a8, but you still need to put a $300 deposit down.

Whats the story around the world at different Audi garages? I'm sure I'm going to be shocked to here about free v10's etc etc!

My r8 is my only car, so driving something nice is paramount!

My dealership offers a loaner to it's customers; usually a 4 series, which I find most enjoyable. They've also let me take out a 5 series too.

In general I just have them bring me home in the courtesy van and I'll drive my own vehicle so that I'm not taking a car that may be needed by another customer. I have two cars (R8 & RS6), so I don't need the loaner.

I get a nice near-new A4 with all the bells and whistles. It's a nice contrast and I love getting back into the R8 at the end of the day. Of note, the last one I got had an 8-speed automatic which was interesting - below 1500rpm at 100km/h on the highway.

My dealer's service department has no loaners. While this is the only criticism I have of them, I find it an inexplicably dumb policy for a luxury car dealership.

Even so, I usually take the van ride home. I did accept their offer of a free rental car one time, but it was really more trouble than it was worth.

They gave me an A4 S-tronic once. Car sucks balls and brake pedal feels like mush after using the R8.

My dealer has given me an A8L, an A6, and an S4 as courtesy cars.

Usually get an A4 for either the R8 or the Q5.

A4 is the typical car they give me. They don't discriminate between owners here... You drive an A4--> R8 and get it service, you get an A4.

Generally a A4 here in OZ as well.

Did once have a V12 Diesel 4 wheel drive but don't remember the model.

As a side note when I had the GT-R serviced I always got a 370z.
