Daytime running lights on V10

hi all, just a quick question as im not sure about it, With the daytime running lights, do yours come on when the light is switched to the O position (off) or come on when on auto. I ask because previous to the V10 i had an S5, and the daytimes came on on the O position, and were at their brightest in the O position. thanks

Seems to vary. Saw a 2009 V8 on which DRL turned off when switch in Off position. On my 2009 the DRL stay on in the Off position, then when headlights turn on in the Auto position, the DRL dims. Go figure... (sorry, I know you were asking about the V10)

Do you not set the daytime running lights via the center menu?

I may have missed an option between set and lights - I know you have to go to "page 2" of the menu options to find the one for the lights.

If you set them to on via the menu system, they are on any time you turn the key on. You can set the home coming light time on in the same menu section.

hi, i tried to look on the computer but theres no option for DTRL at all. it gives me options for exterior lights, with only coming home and leaving home options and nothing else. interior lights for footwell. i tried uploading a video to show the menu options but its taking forever, will try a bit later on.

If I turn off DRL in DIS, then during daylight they are OFF in both O and Auto. If I turn on DRL in DIS, then during daylight they are ON in both O and Auto.

i dont have the DRL option on the DIS for some reason! guess i have to take it up with Audi next time the car goes in! thanks for your help
