Suggestions Please

Guys a bit of a redundant question but I am reaching out.

I am ordering my V10 Coupe in the next couple of days and I am a bit at wit ends about exterior color.

Interior is settled as I will be ordering the high back Sports Seats which only come in black with black interior.

Now as some of you will know I have had 2 Ibis White R8's so I want a change(i think)

I am open to a ordering a any custom color snipped from another manufacturer or the Audi Range.

My fallback at the moment is R8 Phantom Black but is it just a shade to light for a mean black?

Any suggestions would be appreciated

If you want a mean-looking black, get your car wrapped in matte black film. It'll protect the original finish so if you ever get tired of it you can simply remove the wrap and enjoy your showroom-new paint. Save the extra $650 for metallic paint from Audi and choose Ibis or Brilliant, both easy colors to resell and no extra charge. The $3500 wrap is a lot less costly than doing a custom paint color. Please let us know what you ultimately decide.

The Phantom Black is mean black, especially if you black out some of the chrome. Get the black optics pkg and titanium wheels for full effect.

Always had black cars but really liking Sepang Blue. Looks great on the coupe with carbon blades.

Agreed. Either that or go for the full carbon fiber sigma exterior package.

Saw it on a spyder in Neckarsulm at the Audi factory museum and it looked amazing, i would have had the GT in it had it not been for the carbon trims getting lost as dark against dark, trust me Gazza, you will not look back.

Suzuka Grey. Close to your prior Ibis Whites, but at least different. The carbon exterior bits will go well as will the black interior. I would also add the Titanium wheels.

R8's look great in any color but I vote silver. There's a reason that the Audi adds feature the silver. Have had tons of black cars and got tired of washing a black car every couple of days or so. Can't stand the dust effect.
