A\C Problems Please Help!

Hey Guys new to the site. Recently my ac stopped working, well the ac button stopped working. The red light doesnt stay on whenever i press the button in and i get no cold air. Also ive tried holding the button in and no dice. I have an 09 with under 10k on it and any info would help. Thanks

That sounds like a dealer issue. They should have no issues fixing it either, as you're car's quite new.

If you're feeling daring, you can pull (it's really nothing more than a fairly brutal yank) the A/C control module out of it's resting place and make sure that the two wire harnesses in the back side of it are fully engaged.

I already pulled it,and everything is hooked up fine. Could there be any other problems? The only dealer I trust is a 6 hour drive away! The two that are closer have already scratch the car and cant fix anything!!!! So dealer confidence is low.

I'm guessing one of the dealers you mentioned is in Baton Rouge. Have you tried the dealer in Mobile. They got their R8 certification few weeks ago.

Yeah they scraped the front diffuser to hell! Ive heard atlanta is a great place to take it but like i said its six hours away.

Had my R8 first service done in New Orleans. I didn't find about Mobile dealer getting cert. until after the fact. Mobile does the service on my A3 and so far it's been good.
