Thread: New V10 manual problems

    Unhappy New V10 manual problems

    Has anyone experienced the following yet:
    A. During 1st gear clutch engagement I get a shutter/chatter, not a smooth engagement ( note I have been driving sticks for 30 years)
    B. Brakes staying engaged after stopping. ( intermittent) Dealer found rear calipers staying engaged.
    (advised not applicable to "hill assist")
    Car delivered new with 50 miles, problems started then, brought it in and awaiting fixes.

    I was told this was new method to help keep the revs down during the break-in period... just kidding!
    Picked up the car today, they attributed all of the problems with the brakes; they had to change out the master cylinder and a brake switch. A rare occurance indeed for an R8
