    Question New wheels and TPMS

I have just bought a nice new set of wheels for my V8.

Question is the car has TPMS, the new wheels do not have sensors (I don't think) so can the sensors be swapped from the old to the new wheels? Or do I need to buy new sensors as well?

    Thanks in advance guys

You can swap the sensors from the OEM wheels to the new aftermarket wheels. What kind of wheels did you get? Post some pictures!

    Re: New wheels and TPMS

When you get tires put on is when the tire place puts on new sensors as part of the valve stem assembly. So your new wheels would not come with it but rather when you buy new tires and have them and new sensors installed as part of that process. If you are switching your current tires across to the new wheels yes they can move the sensor as well.

It sure is nice to switch to another set of tires/wheels and have the TPMS not throw a warning. I'm finally set in this regard.

Actually bought a brand new set of OEM V8 Five Spoke design - IMHO they suit the car really well and can't be beat.
