Did I get a good deal?

So I recently upgraded from my V8 to a V10 Spyder. But the reason I did so was influenced by the following.

I was hit July 4th by a drunk illegal immigrant who had no insurance. My policy had uninsured and covered it. It wasn't that bad, essentially was hit in the passenger side blade and cost about 33k to fix, which did however require them to drop the engine and re weld part of the subframe. It came back perfect and I couldn't tell a thing happened. However, I then came into an opportunity to get the Spyder and I traded it.

The dealer was aware of the accident and gave me 88k for my car and called it a huge favor for me.

The car was an '08 R-tronic with all options except carbon fiber and alcantera. It had only 10k miles on it and was in pristine condition.

The wreck didn't even show up on Car fax for some reason.

There are some other circumstances as to why I got "a great deal" but aren't relevant.

    So....is 88k a "great deal"?

Hard to say.....you know the dealer does not plan to lose money on the resale, as there is no mention of accident on Carfax, he probably will not volunteer that info to the next buyer.... He will probably price it north of 100k, which is probably where you could have been with a private sale, but it is off your hands and you have a new toy(and no guilt), so it is a good deal.

    Enjoy it.

Accidents can take a long time to show up on a car fax. Kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me.

I think it depends on circumstances (to say whether it is a good deal or not). What's a good deal, specifically anyway?

Are these types of good deals?-->
Don't have to deal with the hassle of selling a car yourself.
Getting paid for sure (that is, the money is real and without the worries of bouncing a check together with quick money in your pocket)
The amount of money obtained from the transaction is enough (if it is enough, what is
    "enough", lol)

Hypothetical scenario: I am a mega millionaire with no substantial liabilities (hence, ultra assets). I'd likely settle for the 88K just to get it over with since I have many other things to think about.
Another pretend scenario: My assets and liabilities cancel each other out; I will likely push for more money than 88K for my R8

As you can see, there are many factors that will weigh on whether you are satisfied with a deal or not. Heck, even a wife's soothing voice (or the alternate beratement and chiding) will factor in.

Weighing risks/benefits has always been a science and should be applied in large transactions/situations. I hope you find your Spyder well because I'd hate to drive it and still think whether I got a good deal (either the old R8, maybe even the Spyder price weighs in on it too) or not.
