    "Secret" Storage Compartment

Maybe it's just a secret to me since I'm such a noob but has anyone else discovered that the front of the seats has a small, tilt-out storage compartment? At least, in the Spyder it does. I looked in the manual but it's not mentioned under "Storage" or "Seats" as far as I can tell after a cursory look. Did I discover something or is this common knowledge and I'm just late to the party?

Took me a full 2 years of ownership of my old V8 Coupe to one day discover it under the seat.

LOL! So if I found mine in 2 months and 1200 miles, I'm actually doing OK?!?

Pretty much every Audi I've had has those, so I instinctively knew they were there from the start. But in the A6 and the S4, they were slide-out drawers, not just a flip-down door.

I knew Audi had them but my RS4 didn't, so was one of the first things I checked

If I recall correctly, they fell under the "Storage Package" option, but have been made standard on the R8, albeit with a slightly different take on it.

EDIT: Sebring beat me to the post, but here is the detail:
The under seat storage is part of the Optional "Storage Package"

The QE1 package is part of the Convenience Package in North America (sometimes also referred to on the order guide as the Premium Package).

    Re: "Secret" Storage Compartment

Are there other secret compartments I should be looking for? Do I need to move the seat forward to go hunting for more compartments or is that it? I'm still looking for a second cup holder...
