Replacing Side Blades

Hi new to the boards, have been lurking for awhile, I did a search and could not find the topic, any help appreciated. Has anyone changed out there side blades. I have only found OEM and McCarbon as vendors any suggestions on where to buy the CF Blades and what to expect installing them is it a job that can be done in my shop at the house? You should just first vinyl wrap your blades and see if you're happy with the result, then think of changing.

There is CF-style vinyl and that seems to look pretty decent... it'd be a cheap knockoff of a real CF blade, but who cares...

Thank you for all of the nice responses. I have many decisions to make, since I bought my car I now have a good friend looking for an 09 6 speed car he's looking a shopper so if anyone finds a good deal pm me and I'll pass along his info. Thanks again.

I painted mine. It wasn't an easy decision to make, but I'm quite happy with the results. I found the original colors too monotonous. I wanted a dark gray so I picked it from the Audi pallete of colors. I forget the official color name.

Agreed with the after effects of the dark gray; it really makes the rest of the car pop out as the original intended purpose of the side blades.
