"Release:
Cars on 5th Show
February 12, 2011

The Ferrari Club of Naples has announced the date of the seventh annual Cars on 5th show in Naples. Open to the public and set on prestigious 5th Avenue in downtown Old Naples the Cars on 5th show promises to be another successful gathering of fine cars.

Over 400 cars will be on display on 5th Avenue from Route 41 west to 3rd Street. This year there will be exotics including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis and more. Joining The Ferrari Club of Naples will be the West Coast Muscle Car Club, the Porsche Club of Naples, the Corvette Club of Naples and the Cool Cruisers. The variety of cars and fantastic setting is what makes this show one of the best and largest shows in the Southeast.

Entry to the show is a $5 donation. Gates open to the public at 10 AM and the show ends at 3 PM with a resounding drive off by all 400+ cars. You don’t want to miss this show. Proceeds benefit the Special Needs Children's Fund and the Von Liebig Art Center. Over the past 6 years over $150,000 has been raised to help disadvantaged children in Collier County."

I was invited by the president of the Ferrari Club to show my R8 Spyder and since my trip to Egypt isn't happening due to the political unrest there, I'm going to and am looking for to my first Cars on 5th and hope some of you Florida R8 owners will stop by and say hi.
