Titanium color wheels on daytona gray?

I have an '09 V8 daytona gray R8 and am thinking of changing the stock wheels for titanium colored ones; or perhaps even painting the ones I have. I think It will look great. Anybody have this combo? Can you post some pics?

I agree with you. A darker wheel looks great with Daytona Grey.

That is what I have on my car and I really love the combination. In certain lighting the wheels almost look like they match the color of the car but they are really somewhat lighter. Let me know if you need more pics posted.

That's funny. I put my winter tires on my titanium wheels and just bought a used set of OEM regular wheels for use with summer tires. I am going to powder coat the regular aluminum wheels in satin black or something similar to the titanium finish wheels. That is something you should consider doing once you get the summer set mounted again.

I'm now all titanium (or Nimbus) on summers and winters on both my current Audi's, Daytona RS6 and my Nimbus TT. Plan to do the same on my R8. Looks great with Daytona and as said above its nearly a match in most light. With how fast Audi brakes get Audi wheels dirty I will not go back to bright silver. My wife might kill me if i get the third car in gray but its still in the running.
