My R8 is finally here!!!

Picked up my R8 Feb 24th! (Ordered mid Nov., built Mid Jan., shipped late Jan., and arrived in US Mid Feb., and picked up at dealership Late Feb. Unfortunately the drive home was in the rain and the weather hasn't been the best since delivery, but thus far the R8 has exceeded expectations. I am very pleased with my exterior color combination (Daytona Gray with CF blades and ext. mirrors) Y wheels and the interior (Black extended leather with CF trim and door seals). My initial thoughts regarding the R-tronic are also very good.
I have already modified the exhaust thanks to the post on this site which significant improved the low rpm growl of the V10 (the picks and how to posted on this site were priceless). Next step is getting radar detector and laser jammer installed as I am already finding it hard to stay within the speed limits. I hope the weather clears soon.


FYI:
Of interest, there was a cloudy area in the paint of the left quarter panel measuring about 10 x 5 cm that I did not notice until I got the car home as it was only noticable at a certain angle. I immediately called and texted a pic. to the dealership and a couple of days later took it to them to see. They showed me an Audi service bulliten reagrding this and how to fix it. They said it was from moister getting under the protective cover during shipping. Within an hour they were able to fix it and all evidence of the finding was gone.

Congrats! I ordered around same time but mine wasn't finished til 2 wks ago.(delay due to Carbon-ceramic brakes)! Same color combo as yours. It's coming in a few weeks and I'm gonna get the Stasis ECU upgrade and possibly the exhaust (wanne hear the stock one first).
