R8 V10 UK order advice

Didnt think I would have been in this situation but the R8 V10 has caught enough of my attention and here I am. Basically I have a flying spur and I was set on getting an 06 Gallardo or an 06ish F430 as its replacement but then came across the idea of getting something alot newer and something that would be alot more of an easier transition to a supercar. From what ive read, the ride quality, cabin quality and ease of use is much better than the lambo and ferrari so I have been looking at a year old R8 V10.

The V8 model seems to have held their value pretty well, so can we expect the same, better or worse for the V10 model? Any options that are must have's on the V10? As mentioned in the other UK order thread, some members got quite a substantial discount. Would it be better going brand new or will I be able to get a discount on a year old R8 as well?

I started off looking at the low millage V8 till I got offered a deal on my V10 then I put in my offer on the car.

I think mine was a bit of a one off due to it was a "messy" "canceled order" was part owned by the dealership and finance company it was a messy buy too but heavy discount even then I only just scraped it I mean looking for change down the sofa style aha.

It has a few marks and a dent and one of the carbon mirrors is broken. only had it just over 2 weeks and so far its spent 8 days in the workshop been repaired.

The V10 is very well specced already so not much on the list to add but SEARCH this forum concerning the V10 order process and you will find a wealth of information.

I would say heavy custom order your going to loose £20,000 - £25,000 easy

There are tons of white ones I own one I know someone in london with one too

My advice would be buy a year old one unless you get a really good deal.

Thanks for the reply. There seem to be quite alot of White R8's for sale but none that match the spec I'm looking for. I don't need many options, only a couple like park sensors, r-tronic. Interior has to be any colour but black lol just think it looks too dark and boring in black. Tbh, I am looking for one that is about a year old and hoping for a good deal (I can wait for the right deal) and maybe get one around the £85k mark. I'm from manchester.

I was looking for a year old one. Your best bet is find the spec you want and find cars matching your spec when give them your offer price they can only say no or give you there best price.

That or there's something thats stopping it selling!

On another note, my logic is and always has been that if I'm happy with the deal i've got then that's all there is too it. If I'm not I walk away, simple really!
