Europe Only Options?

I have seen pics of sport seats which my dealer told me are not available in the States and have read of interior options that include Alcantara inserts on the doors, seats and dash. Are any of these options available if one places a factory order or are those options only available for Europe/UK delivery?

The seats below, for example, are factory seats which can be ordered aftermarket at considerable expense but are these seats available to order on a new car destined to the States? And can they be had with Alcantara center inserts?

Yeah my car has them but bright red leather from factory. there as a thread up and it was due to the safety rules in the states iirc

The sport seats are not available when ordering a car stateside. As you've noticed the seats are available to purchase after the fact through importers and they are available with pretty much any leather scheme you can dream of through Quattro GmbH, prepare for an arm, leg and possibly a second leg to do it though.

So, there are no seat options? What about the GT seats? Are they an option for the Spyder?

I will when I get it back its till in london been fixed doubt I'll have pick up for 2 weeks too busy trying to get deals in motion.

Also wanted to get it detailed and get the mirror sorted.

i believe they are not available because those seats do not have airbags in them
they go for about $14000 in the states for the OEM parts.

recaro makes very similar seats available for purchase for alot less (they make the OEM versions as well)

There are no options to get different seats when purchasing in the US. You can purchase the sport seats or the GT seats after the fact, but they are not available in the US parts system either.

Those bucket seats were initially only available in the UK in the Coupe. The new price list I just got sent has them available on the Spyder now so I guess things change all the time.

Everybody makes such a fuss over the lack of LED lights for the license plate but am I the only person who really doesn't care about that when bigger shortcomings such as interior choices are being denied American buyers? I'd much rather have the options that UK buyers have than make such a brouhaha over lights I'll never see because no one drives my car but me and I can't see my tail when I'm driving but I sure do see and feel my interior 100% of the time.
