New R8 V10 Order

Currently drive a BMW M3 (E92) M DCT. Before that I owned:

BMW Z4 M Coupe (Jul 07 - Jul 08)
BMW 330d (E90) (Dec 05 - Jul 07)
BMW M3 (E46) (Dec 02 - Dec 05)


But I now have an R8 V10 (manual) on order which should be delivered in November this year.

Spec:

Suzuka Grey
Black Extended Leather/Black headliner/Pale Grey coloured stitching
Carbon sigma side blades
Voice dialogue system
AMI (in place of CD changer)
Audi Parking System Advanced
Cruise control
High beam assist
Bluetooth telephone

I haven't actually seen the official order form or whatever you get. Just been told it's November.

When I get a copy of the order form from the dealer I'll have a look. I suspect it will be '12. When do they switch over? August?

Yes, late July or early August. Mine came over in early July last year. It was a '10 and it was on the boat with some '11 R8s.

Have driven the E92 M3's and really like them.

I'm thinking of speccing the carbon wing mirrors. I get the impression people like these, especially on Suzuka Grey?

Are there any updates rumoured for the 2012 model?
