Why not add a GT3, just for good measure?

No wonder used V8 Coupés are saturating the current market. Unless their collecting dust in car barns for resale in 50 years, their value just keeps on sinking.

If there is indeed going to be a GT Spyder, and I'm sure there would be enough customers to go for it, I'd say it kind of goes against the entire GT weight reduction exercise...

A Spyder would be heavier and then we just get a lighter weight V10 Spyder that they call a GT? No thanks.

Just take your V8 Spyder and supercharge it to obliterate the GT Spyder...

Since it will only be available with the R-Tronic, I think I'll pass on it because I enjoy shifting with a clutch pedal and not with paddles (no offense to those who enjoy their R-Tronics because I know they are faster: jut a personal preference).

LOL,.. its starting to sound like the bad part of Porsche,... 911 Super Special Limited Edition blah, blah, blah of every possible model design.

I just want the GOOD part of Porsche. .. One very serious, yet affordable, street legal, no frills, super lightweight,< 3200LBS, fully track tested, RWD, 5.2L, GT3RS version of the Audi R8 coupe that will be the true transition car for serious Audi enthusiasts to move to the great R8 LMS full race car that already exists, and was designed especially for amateur club racing, via local Audi Clubs. This new track/street model R8 would instantly become the main center piece for all Audi Club track events for many years to come, just like the Porsche GT3 has been for super super strong PCA ( Porsche Club of America) and the various Porsche clubs world-wide.

This is a photo of all new Porsche Cup race cars for just the Middle East Porsche Club races for just one year! The R8 is the superior sportscar/ racecar platform. Audi NEEDS this R8 transition track/street car! These Porsche Cup cars are NOT for professional racers. Its just for Porsche Club amateurs! And I would bet that over 80% of these club drivers owned a Porsche GT3 before doing the Cup cars.
