    The Wing is finally on...

I couldn't resist putting this bad ass wing on the car, and it took a while - probably 9 months now, since APR was revising attachments after Bodhii's car suffered some movement in the deck lid. Many thanks to Tony at APR Caliof. and Bodhii for their pioneering efforts in getting this to work on the car. Thanks also to Ed, Andy and Nathan at APS in the UK who did an absolutely amazingly clean install, better than Bodhii's I think ! See attached, I think it looks awesome, but I am biased of course.

Anyone in the UK can contact Ed at APS in Brackley (one of the site sponsors) if you want one. Very reasonable pricing and the carbon fiber and quality are superb, its a perfect match for the carbon sideblades.

    Enjoy.

Holy crap, it's an LMS car! Looks nice, is it adjustable? How does one measure downforce and drag on an installed wing?

Looks great. Do you have any close ups of installation? Did you have to cut engine cover? Where does is mount??

    I really want one!!

It bolts to the deck lid so you have to drill holes through that. Then there are reinforcing plates mounted to the frame below that and you have to cut some of the trim in the engine bay on the sides to expose the plates. My installers were a little hesitant in getting it installed but did a great job in the end. The attached photos show the mounting plates and the detail under the deck lid. The trim under the deck lid needs a slight cutting away too but it was done very neatly on my car. See attached photos.

Your guys do great work. The trimming of the plastic was done really nicely. Maybe they used heat and a straight edge of metal to mold the edge just so ???
