Going to leave it in garage for 4 weeks. Scoured/googled this dilemma and only thing I seem to "may" need is a battery tender. Do I really need one? Any other input is much appreciated.

Considering the car will not be sitting during sub-freezing weather, I personally think you'll be just fine. Assuming you are in Vegas, as your profile reads..

You'll be fine, if in doubt or have no tender, you can disconnect the battery... but you might need to redo some settings.
A tender is cheap and will allow you to leave it worry free, get any model you see fit from CTek, they are great.
If you disconnect the battery you may need to go to the dealer to have your radio reprogrammed. It is this way on my A8L. I also lost all of my blue tooth cell phone saved numbers.
Ctek charger is low cost and works well. This is what I use in the winter.

My car sat in the garage for almost 5 months this past winter. Prior to this year, I had tendered the battery. This year I didn't. I decided to start it after a couple of months, just to see what would happen and it started fine. I don't think you need to worry, for a month in the spring/summer. I expect that you go to start it, you won't be able to tell that it sat a month.

4 weeks shouldn't even require a tender. You should be just fine to leave it be.
I've left my car last winter for almost 2 months without any tender and it started within a second. So you needn't to worry leaving your for a month. A tender isn't necessary

Thanks for all the replies, it sure gives me a lot of confidence now.

I'd overfill the tires just in case they deflate enough to cause a flat spot. I learned that the hard way and now have to replace the tires on my GTC. The GTC has TWO batteries and I left the car for all of 3 weeks once and the primary (starter) battery was dead. I have to use a tender or else risk the same thing all over again because the computers are constantly checking things while the car sits so I can't just disconnect the battery. The Audi is apparently a lot more user-friendly than its cousin the Bentley, it seems.

I left both my RS6 (with original 8 year old battery) and the R8 alone for the month of Feb this year and they both fired right up when I returned.
Say your good byes, pet your car, informing it how much you like it, then turn and walk away. It'll be happy to see you in a few weeks.
