My car will be loaded on the ship tomorrow!

Just spoke to the dealer. They let me know that my ibis 2012 white r8 spyder will be loaded on the ship tomorrow, arrive in San Diego June 15th and at the dealership by June 20th. How realistic are these time estimates? Also just ordered tubi style exhaust without valves, v10 side skirts Audi oem, H&R springs and will get the car tinted. It's going straight from the dealer to the shop. Can't wait. I am much more excited about this car than when I waited for my Porsche GT3.

My Ibis V10 just arrived at the Audi dealership today!!!!!! collect it in 1 weeks time as they need to get it ready and tracker added etc + my garage is being widened monday to home it.

Worse still, my weekday apartment in Ldn is right next to the Audi dealership so i can look down on it from above....how painful is that lol

Not long now though will see it tomorrow so can finally touch it before getting keys next week

REALLY----Audi Spyder + So.Cal beaches + Summer. I finally realized that our coastline compares to the beauty of most other beaches in the world. And, I -- "Wish they all could be California girls". ( Van Halen ) (future R8 road trip up to "MAVERICKs Cali. on a big swell )

CA + Beach + Summer + R8 = don't forget your gold chains. CA + mountain back road + R8 = automotive bliss. Beach combing in CA is best done in an old Lincoln convertible with suicide doors. More room for "new friends" to hop in and party while you crawl along in traffic.

I actually lived a block away from California coast and my drive to work includes a 10 mile segment on PCH. It is a spectular drive, and I lived off of Lakeshore Drive in Chicago for about 8 years, just beautiful. Still wouldn't mind cruising in an audi spyder in London!

I'm talking beaches with NO homes, hotels, or stores on them. I've had it with my favorite beaches being over-run. Cruising London is definitely on my to do list. Especially Beatles territory. I frequent the Beatles - Blue Jay Way In the Hollywood Hills for a bottle of bubbly all the time.
