New R8 nearly here?

I called the R8 Customer Service number earlier this week to get confirmation that my car was built last month and was on schedule to be delivered mid June.

I get a call back today to say that the car has been delivered to San Diego, that it's been released to the carrier and should be delivered to the dealer next week.

Guess I'd better make sure I've got the $$$ to pay for it...

Cool. Looks like there is going to be a few more R8 on Bay area roads by next week.
So you'll be able to drive the car stock for a bit and then give us a good report on the effect of that blower you are putting on it?

My new V10 docks on June 6th and I expect to collect mid June.

Unlikely. I'm number 18 and I would expect somebody else here to be ahead of me. They start installing in July. I expect they'll get round to me in August, which will be perfect as I'm travelling then. The car can sit in the dealership instead of my garage.

My Ibis V10 was due end of June and its arrived this week 1 month early!

Will post pics i officially take ownership next Tuesday at the moment its all tightly wrapped into its delivery skin!

Good luck with your new car. I have a red V8 spyder scheduled to arrive in
the Georgia Port and to be delivered to my dealer here in Naples Fl. the week
of June 6th. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!
