Sat nav needs speed bump warning.

Yesterday I had to get a dress my other half had ordered. The road I normally would of used was closed off. I used the sat nav and was fine till I turned into a road full of speed bumps it was at rush hour traffic was bad. I was going as slow as I could even pulled over but in the end I had to just go over them.

It was a horrid metal dragging noise and a cracking as well.

The carbon lip is ready for the bin.

Letter going off to the council as the speed bumps are stupidly high I pay my road tax they can pay the bill

But It would be nice if audi could do a speed bumps option to warn you or so you could choose to avoid roads with bumps.

Sorry to hear that man. The satnav doesnt warn you about speed cameras so I cant see it doing speed humps as tom toms dont even do that. Post some pics of your car!

There are other, better, sat nav programs such as "Waze". However, I don't think anyone would bother setting a warning for speed bumps, then again, they might.

be prepared to fight - almost a certainty that they'll blame your car/driving and reject it in the first instance.

I agree though that given traffic calming can be entirely unsuitable and uk roads have been like this since before the car was sold here, audi does have something to answer to in terms of making the car "fit for purpose" for driving in an urban setting. pity they don't offer the hydraulic lift option like on the lambo.

Yeah I guessed I would have a fight but there is no way the speed bumps are right.
Went back to take photos and drove the A5 at 15mph hit it square it scraped on quite a few

In the 8 I was below 5mph and I went around the biggest ones using the pavement. The traffic behind me was as far as I could see in the mirror talk about talk calming everyone wanted to kill me .

It would have been fine if I could have taken the normal route so gave the nav a blast and it failed for me

It was ordered 4 months ago came from paris. Its shocking how much a bit of cloth can cost

I guess it was my own fault should have taken the A5 or the 159

I've written my letter will send it off recorded on monday. I doubt I will get anywhere but I feel angry about the whole thing. The R8 will go over normal speed bumps.
